Job Ballard Design is looking for a web programmer to work with our design and development teams. Since 2003, Job Ballard Design has been design work for both for profit and non-profit clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established design house, and provide a leadership role on large-scale interactive projects. This is a PROGRAMMING position.

As Information Architect you are responsible for the organization, navigation, interaction design, and business/user process engineering for leading-edge websites and software. You will apply IA methodologies to translate user needs, business objectives, and technology capabilities into standout interactive experiences.

Responsibilities

• Help define client’s business objectives and requirements and user needs
• Understand and apply the latest user experience trends and best practices for addressing programming challenges.
• Participate in client meetings and working sessions
• Ability to work with design and technical teams in a collaborative fashion

Requirements

• 3 years minimum programming experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in design-related programming
• Well-versed in user-centered design methods and techniques
• Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
• Good knowledge of Javascript, PHP and MYSQL
• Strong knowledge of multiple web browser/platform issues
• Experience working in MAC and Windows environments
